From day one the process was positive and collaborative. We had some ideas of our own that they listened to openly while adding their professional style, design and ideas to help execute our vision. We worked with Lauren & LRD to update finishes and furnish our new second home in Whistler. The results were spectacular and exceeded our expectations. The home is large, but the design feels cozy and the spaces function well whether there are 2 or 14 people staying there. We love the rich textures and the soul from the many locally crafted pieces.
The process was collaborative and fun through a combination of in-person and video calls. She listened to our goals, put together a strong plan, and effectively managed the budget. The house was furnished when we bought it so she worked with us on which existing pieces to keep and which to sell. For every decision on new pieces or materials there was a curated set of options to choose from which made the process easy. The LRD team also recommended and worked closely with a local contractor to execute the design.

We worked with Lauren on the interior design of our new Whistler build. Throughout the entire process, Lauren was attentive to our style and personal choices for the house, and the final design was exactly what we had envisioned. Lauren is versatile, adaptable, knowledgeable, kind and honest. She is a true gem and a professional in her own right. My only regret is that we didn’t bring Lauren onto the project earlier.
